Box Score The Lake Forest College women's tennis team posted a 6-1 victory at Lawrence University on Sunday to improve to 2-1 in Midwest Conference play this season.

The Foresters earned the doubles point with a sweep that included a 6-0 blanking of the Vikings' #3 team by Avelynn Wen and Anika Kinnear. Sofia Strupovets and Lilli Dockal was nearly as dominant with a 6-1 win at #1 while Anya Mookencherry and Bebe Phramthong came out on top 6-4 at #2.

Mookencherry and Wen were the first to complete their singles contests and did not drop a game at #2 and #4, respectively. After Kinnear finished off a 6-0, 6-1 win at #6 to clinch the match, Phramthong prevailed 6-4, 6-1 at #3 and Kate Feist 6-1, 6-3 at #5. Lawrence earned its only point with a third set super tiebreaker victory atop the lineup.

Lake Forest evened its overall record this fall at 2-2 while the Vikings fell to 3-7 overall and 0-3 in the league.

Select Foresters will travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan for next weekend's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Tournament.
