The latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings were released on Wednesday and Lake Forest College junior
Sofia Strupovets and her team were listed.
Strupovets remained the 19th-ranked singles player in the Central Region. She has won 17 of 21 singles matches in 2025-26, including a 7-5, 6-1 triumph over the region's 10th-ranked player at Hope College on March 20.
Strupovets owns career singles record of 58-11 and ranks seventh in program history in overall singles wins and second with 49 victories at #1, 11 shy of the record.
After being listed 70th nationally two weeks ago, Lake Forest dropped out last week before climbing back in at #67Â in this Wednesday's rankings. All four of the Foresters' losses have been to teams above them in the rankings and they have a 7-0 victory over #54 Cornell College to their credit.
The Foresters will play travel to Madison, Wisconsin, for the MWC Tournament on Saturday. They will take on Cornell College once again in the semifinals with the winner advancing to the final against either Illinois College or #28 Grinnell College.
