Forester Athletics joined more than 200,000 student-athletes nationwide in celebrating NCAA Division III Week, highlighting the achievements, leadership, and community impact.

Throughout the week, Forester student-athletes demonstrated their dedication to competing for the love of the game while simultaneously excelling in the classroom and contributing to the wider campus culture.

The week kicked off with a spotlight on the variety of club sports on campus and a celebration of a 15-year partnership with the Special Olympics, highlighting the team's dedication to giving back. That same drive for excellence carried over into the classroom during the Lake Forest College Student Symposium. Student-athletes were among those presenting original research and creative work, representing the balance of academic and athletic commitment that defines the Division III experience.

Midweek programming turned to those who support student athletes behind the scenes. The faculty and staff appreciation spotlight recognized mentors who play a vital role in their success, while a focus on mental health highlighted the importance of well-being both in and out of competition. The week's daily spotlights concluded on Friday with highlighting senior student-athletes, honoring individuals who have made a lasting impact to their programs. The celebration carried into the weekend with a cookout on Saturday, held alongside a F.A.N Club garage sale that brought together students, families, and supporters.

Division III Week concluded on Sunday evening with the inaugural Boomers Awards. The event drew a strong turnout of student-athletes, coaches, and staff, marking the beginning of a new tradition centered on recognizing excellence within Forester Athletics. With a red-carpet set and student-athletes dressed for the occasion, the evening provided an opportunity to reflect on the year's accomplishments while honoring standout achievements in leadership, performance, and academic-excellence.

As the first event of its kind, the Boomers Awards served as both a celebration of the past year and a foundation for what lies ahead. Much like Division III Week itself, the evening captured the core values of Forester Athletics—commitment, community, and pride, bringing a memorable week of recognition to a fitting close.
