Lake Forest College men's golfer Tyler Wengronowitz was named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday for his performance at Milliking University's Butts Classic last Monday and Tuesday.

Wengronowitz was the individual champion in the 82-player field and led the Foresters to a fourth-place finish as a team. After posted scores of 73 (+1) and 69 (-3) on Monday, he played Tuesday's final round in even par (72) for a final tally of 214 (-2). His birdie on the 18th hole gave him the one-shot victory in a field that featured six other players ranked among the top 125 in the nation.

Monday's second round was the fifth in the 60s for Wengronowitz in his career, two more than any other player in team history. His 214 for the tournament matched the program's second-lowest 54-hole total while his 142 for the first 36 holes ranks tied-for-eighth in school history and his 69 in round two is tied-for-10th.

SLIAC Players of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. Wengronowitz also earned the honor twice earlier in 2025-26 and three times last year.
