Lilli Dockal defeated the Vikings' top tandem 6-1, sophomore
Avelynn Wen and senior
Olivia Pandazi won 6-2 at #2, and juniors
Anika Kinnear and
Mara Shere blanked their opponents 6-0 at #3.
The closest match of the day took place at #5 singles, where Pandazi came out on top 7-5 in both sets. Strupovets posted a 6-3, 6-4 victory at #1 and Wen by the same score at #3. Dockal did not drop a game in the first set and took the second 6-4 at #2. Shere took both sets 6-0 at #6 and Wen won 6-1 in both sets at #4.
The Foresters improved to 15-4 this year while North Park fell to 8-12.
Lake Forest will be in action next at the Midwest Conference Tournament on May 2. Cornell College will be the Foresters' opponent in the semifinals at 10:00 a.m. and the final will take place an hour after the completion of both semifinals.
