Lake Forest College women's golfer Amanda Adley was named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday for her performance in the Foresters' dual match victory over Elmhurst University on Friday.

Adley finished first as an individual by two strokes with the best score of the her collegiate career, a 5-over 77. She recorded birdies on a pair of par-5s, the 476-yard fourth hole and the 417-yard 13th, and she needed just a tee shot and putt to complete the 131-yard par-3 eighth.

The victory was the third in a row for Adley, who also won the Judson Invitational on April 7 and the Hope Spring Invitational April 10-11. Three of her four rounds during that span have been in the 70s and her scoring average this year is now down to 83.00.
