The latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings were released on Wednesday and the Lake Forest College women's team was once again included.

The Foresters appeared in the top 75 for the second straight week but dropped seven spots to #70. They are 14-4 on the year and won five of six Midwest Conference matches in the fall to finish second in the league standings. All four of their losses are to teams above them in the rankings and they defeated #64 Cornell College 7-0 in October.

Lake Forest defeated Augustana College 6-1 last Wednesday but fell 4-1 to the University of California, Santa Cruz on Sunday.

The Foresters will play at North Park University next Tuesday before traveling to Madison, Wisconsin, for the MWC Tournament on May 2. Lake Forest will play Cornell in the semifinals with the winner advancin to the final against either Illinois College or #27 Grinnell College.
