The Lake Forest College women's lacrosse team began its Spring Break trip to Sewanee, Tennessee with a 20-6 victory over Wittenberg on Sunday.
Freshman
Madison DeGeorge scored five goals for the second time in as many career games. She started the scoring just 56 seconds into the contest and added two tallies in the third quarter and two more in the fourth.

Gracia Muñoz added two goals apiece. Seniors
Daulath Khan and
Shannon Gibbons added tallies and combined for five assists in the game.
Lake Forest had a 21-15 advantage in ground balls with senior
Claire Aimone recording a game-high six. She was also one of three players on the team with a pair of caused turnovers as the Foresters committed 16 turnovers to the Tigers' 29. Khan and Maher each secured four draw controls and their team had a 16-11 edge in that category.
The Foresters' lead grew to 10-4 by halftime and was 13-5 after the third.
Lake Forest sophomore goalie
Cy Nash made seven saves and maintained her 6.00 goals against average on the season.
The Foresters improved to 2-0 while Wittenberg fell to 1-5 this year.
Lake Forest will take on Sewanee Tuesday at noon.
