The Lake Forest College women's lacrosse team was defeated 19-9 at Sewanee on Tuesday during the Foresters' Spring Break trip to Tennessee.
The Tigers rattled off six consecutive goals before sophomore

Emma Sharp converted man-up opportunities just 47 seconds apart late in the first quarter.
Sewanee struck two more times before the period ended, accounted for all five of the game's goals in the second, and led 14-2 after starting the scoring in the third.
The teams alternated goals for the next 11 scores. Sharp finished with a hat trick after hitting the net twice in the third quarter. Freshman

Daulath Khan had a pair of goals in the fourth. DeGeorge added the final goal of the contest and now has a dozen on the year, three fewer than Sharp's team-high total.
Khan led the Foresters with three ground balls, added three caused turnovers, and earned game-high honors with five draw controls. Senior
Claire Aimone caused four turnovers and leads Lake Forest with eight on the season.
The loss dropped the Foresters' record this spring to 2-1 while Sewanee improved to 5-0.
Lake Forest will travel to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Friday for a 3:00 p.m. contest.
