The Foresters women's lacrosse team had an forgettable day at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Friday, falling 22-1.

Emma Sharp, who raised her program record career total in that category to 121.
The home team started fast with seven goals in the first five minutes and 10 in the opening quarter. The Falcons' goal total reached 13 by halftime and 18 with a period to play.

Ella Maher tied for team-high honors with four ground balls apiece but River Falls had a 32-24 advantage in that category as a team. Aimone was one of two players on the team with two caused turnovers while Maher led the squad with three draw controls, including the 100th of her career. Lake Forest committed 38 turnovers to the Falcons' 24 and River Falls secured 17 of the game's 25 draw controls.

Cecilia Adams entered the game with her team trailing by seven and came within one of her career high by making 15 saves while allowing the same number of goals.
The loss evened the Foresters' record at 2-2 while River Falls improved to 4-2.
Lake Forest will be in action again next Tuesday night at 7:00 at Carroll University. The teams played a pair of one-goal games in 2025 with the Pioneers prevailing 10-9 in the second opener and the Foresters coming out on top 13-12 in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
