2/3/2026 11:48:00 AM

Track runner Ollie Francis and swimmer Isabella Rozenbergas were named Forester Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.

Francis was the runner-up in the men's 800m at the University of Wisconsin's Lake Michigan Open on Saturday. The junior completed four laps around the track in 1:56.58, shattering his own school record by nearly two-and-a-half seconds. It was also the fastest 800m time by a Midwest Conference runner so far this season and ranks him 60th nationally.

In addition to competing in the 800m on Saturday, Francis was the anchor for the Foresters' 4x400m relay, which posted a time of 3:42.78 that ranks them fourth in program history.

Rozenbergas helped lead the Lake Forest women to a 151-81 dual meet victory over Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday. The sophomore's victorious time of 2:20.74 in the 200m-IM and 1:01.69 in the 100m-butterfly were the best in the 57-year history of the Sports and Recreation Center pool with the first of those shattering the previous record by seven seconds. She also anchored the Foresters' 400m-freestyle relay, which won the race by 31 seconds and added a third pool record to her tally for the day.

Rozenbergas currently ranks first in the MWC in five different individual events.

Francis and Rozenbergas have each been named Forester Athlete of the Week five times during their collegiate careers.
