2/13/2026 10:23:00 PM

The Forester women's track and field team competed in the Chicagoland Indoor Championship Meet at North Central College on Friday.

Lake Forest's top perforance came from junior Lettia Hoda in the 3000m. She completed 15 laps around the track in 10:29.97 to break the program record and win the event by more than 20 seconds. The previous school record of 10:32.80 was set by Yanelia Guajardo in 2020. Hoda's time on Friday was also exactly 12 seconds faster than her team record in the outdoor 3000m, which she set last April.

Also of note for the Foresters on Friday were career-best times by sophomore Farah Tawfik and freshman Rylie Almoradie in the 60m. Tawfik now ranks tied-for-second in program history in the event with a time of 8.38 seconds while Almoradie is fourth at 8.67.

Additional career-best performances were turned in by sophomore Andrea Fernandez in the 400m; sophomore Stella Abernathy, senior Megan Dodrill, and junior Utopia Pasika in the 800m, junior Avery Huffman in the mile, and junior Jennifer Guerrero in the shot put.

The men's Chicagoland Championships will be contested at North Central on Saturday.
