Lake Forest College men's basketball player Alex Forowycz earned his second consecutive Midwest Conference Performer of the Week award of the season on Monday.

Forowycz helped lead the Foresters to a 76-71 victory over Illinois College on Wednesday, contributing 25 points. The senior wing was efficient from the free-throw line yet again, converting all eight attempts from the charity stripe. Forowycz continued the week on Saturday at Cornell College, where the Foresters outscored the Rams 94-74. He scored 26 points, shooting an impressive 10-for-19 from the field, and added a season-high six assists to help the Foresters in the road contest. Forowycz shot greater than 50 percent from the field and a perfect 100 percent from the free throw line on the week. 

Forowycz remains the MWC's leading scorer, averaging 20.4 points per game. He is also ranked first in the conference in free throw percentage at 97.8 percent and third in field goal shooting at 52.8 percent.
