Lake Forest College women's soccer player Izzy DeStefano was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday for her performance in a pair of victories last week.

DeStefano assisted on the first goal of Wednesday's 4-1 home-opening triumph over Aurora University, scored the official game-winner just 19 seconds later, and set up another Forester tally later in the contest. IT was the fifth time in her career that she contributed statistically to at least three goals in a game.

Lake Forest also prevailed 4-0 at St. Norbert College on Sunday, thanks in part to DeStefano assisting on the first two goals of the contest.

DeStefano now has 77 points on 30 goals and 17 assists in her career.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. DeStefano also earned the honor twice in each of the last two seasons.
