The Lake Forest College women's soccer team stayed unbeaten with a dominant 4–0 road victory at St. Norbert on Sunday afternoon. The Foresters dictated the tempo from the opening whistle, creating consistent scoring chances and locking down defensively to record their first shutout of the season.
The breakthrough came in the 26th minute when junior Anna Hoffman finished off a pass from senior Izzy DeStefano to open the scoring. After carrying the 1–0 lead into halftime, the Foresters quickly added insurance in the second half. Junior Maddie Vasquez converted in the 61st minute, again set up by DeStefano, before junior Anna Diebold extended the margin in the 81st minute off a feed from sophomore Maggie Balas. Just four minutes later, senior Lauren Covarrubias sealed the win by burying a penalty kick to make it 4–0.
Lake Forest was in control throughout, out-shooting the Green Knights 21–3 overall and 15–1 in shots on goal. The Foresters also earned nine corner kicks and forced St. Norbert's goalkeeper into 11 saves, maintaining pressure from start to finish. With just one shot on goal allowed, Lake Forest locked in their first clean sheet of the season.
With the result, the Foresters improve to 4–0 and continue their strong early-season form, combining a balanced attack with disciplined defensive effort.
