The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 2025 NFCA Division III All-Region Teams on Friday and a Forester was named at each of the three levels in Region IX.

Emmie Nyen was a First Team All-Region IX selection. Entering Friday's action at the NCAA Tournament she owns a team-high .507 on-base percentage and is second on the squad with 57 hits, 17 extra-base hits, 87 total bases, a .685 slugging percentage, and 16 stolen bases. She has registered 16 multi-hit performances and scored 31 runs while driving in 36 during the Foresters' 44 games. The junior right fielder was also named Midwest Conference Position Player of the Year last Saturday.

With Friday's Second Team All-Region IX distinction, Kaia Mismash has been listed among the best in this part of the country for the second time in as many seasons. The sophomore outfielder leads Lake Forest with a .456 batting average, 68 base hits, 48 runs scored, and a program record 46 stolen bases. She has at least one hit in each of the last 14 games, matching the ninth-longest run in program history, and is 9-for-13 with eight runs scored in four MWC and NCAA Tournament games. With 84 stolen bases over the last two years, she already has 26 more than any other player in team annals.

Third Team All-Region IX pitcher Riley Stiles transferred to Lake Forest this year and owns a team-best 12-5 record and 2.32 earned run average in 99.2 innings of work. She has struck out 50 batters while walking just 31 and opponents are hitting just .274 against her. Stiles earned a pair of victories, including one in the championship game, and posted a 1.14 ERA to help lead the Foresters to the MWC Tournament title last weekend.

Lake Forest is 28-15-1 this season and captured the program's second straight MWC title and 14th overall with a 14-2 record in league play. They are facing host Washington University in St. Louis Friday afternoon in an elimination game at the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament.

The NFCA has bestowed all-region honors on at least one Lake Forest player each of the last five years and in nine of the last 11 full seasons.
