Six Foresters recorded hat tricks, including junior Emma Sharp and senior Jenna Doctor, who combined for 21 of the team's 41 points. Sharp scored four goals and assisted on a school record-tying seven while Doctor matched her own team record with eight goals and added a pair of assists.

Junior Shannon Gibbons tied one career high with three goals and set another with three assists. Senior Abby Meyer chipped in with four goals and senior Ashley Carr and sophomore Ella Maher finished with three apiece.

Senior Krissy Muwahara led the home team with five draw controls and junior Addison Kennally with a career-high four caused turnovers.

The Foresters led 5-2 after the first quarter and 11-5 at halftime. The Buccaneers scored the first goal of the second half to close to within five but Lake Forest rattled off eight in a row to put the game out of reach.

The victory raised the Foresters' overall record to 6-4 and was the team's third win in as many Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference contests this spring. Beloit fell to 4-3 overall and 1-2 in the league.
