Two days after scoring the most goals in a game in program history, the Forester women's lacrosse team allowed the fewest on Saturday in a 23-0 victory at Lawrence University.
Lake Forest allowed the Vikings to attempt just four shots in the contest and Forester freshman
Cy Nash and senior
Calliope Saban each made just one save apiece while splitting the game in goal.
School records were in play at the other end of the field as well with junior
Emma Sharp setting one with nine assists and matching another with a dozen points. Senior
Jenna Doctor led the visitors in goals with five, added three assists, and became the first player in team history to surpass 250 career points.
Junior
Daulath Khan's four goals and six points were career-high totals and additional hat tricks were turned in by seniors
Ashley Carr and
Krissy Kuwahara. Junior
Shannon Gibbons had a pair of goals, sophomore
Alyssa Dyson scored for the first time this season, and freshmen
Addison Dale and
Lily Anderson each netted her first career goal.
Sharp led Lake Forest with four ground balls and junior
Claire Aimone with three caused turnovers. Senior
Abby Meyer and freshman
Avery Srnka shared team-high honors in draw controls with four apiece.
The Foresters had allowed just one goal in a game on two different occasions, including earlier this season at Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Lake Forest improved to 7-4 overall and 4-0 in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play while Lawrence fell to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the league in the program's first season.
The Foresters will host Edgewood College next Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
