Members of the Lake Forest College men's tennis team won all 18 of their singles and doubles matches on Saturday to earn 7-0 sweeps at Illinois College and Monmouth College.

Felipe Moraes dropped just two games in their victory at #1 and junior

Joao Espindola lost just one at #3.
Ciuca was victorious 6-3, 6-1 atop the singles lineup and Aguiar came out on top 6-0, 7-6 (7-1) at #2. Moraes rolled 6-1, 6-2 at #3 and Espindola reversed those set scores in his win at #4. Tulchinskiy cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at #5 and senior
Kyle Lassen outscored Illinois College's #6 player 6-3, 6-1.
The victory in the morning clinched a spot for the Foresters in the 2025 Midwest Conference Tournament and the result at Monmouth in the afternoon secured second place n the standings and the #2 seed in the conference tourney.
The individual results were even more lopsided at Monmouth as the visitors won 90 of 95 games, including all 18 in doubles by the same duos as in the morning.
The only change in the Foresters' singles lineup was Villardi replacing Espindola at #4 and he joined Aguiar and Tulchinskiy with 6-0, 6-0 victories.
Tulchinskiy's four victories on the day made him just the 11th player in program history to surpass 100 in his career.
Lake Forest evened its overall record to 9-9 and finished its conference schedule at 5-1. Illinois College fell to 7-15 overall and 3-3 in the league while Monmouth finished the year 0-12 overall and 0-6 in conference play.
The Foresters will take on Cornell College in the semifinals of the MWC Tournament next Friday at 10:00 a.m. The tournament will be played at the Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison, Wisconsin, and the final will begin an hour after the completion of the semifinals.
