The Forester men's tennis team hosted and defeated Principia College 7-0 on Saturday at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff.
With a 6-2 victory by junior
George Ciuca and sophomore
Bernardo Aguiar at #2 doubles and a forfeit win at #3, the home team started th match by taking the doubles point.
Ciuca also doubled up the Panthers' top singles player 6-3 in both sets and Aguiar prevailed 6-3, 6-2 at #2. Freshman
Felipe Moraes came out on top 6-2, 7-5 at #3, senior
Daniel Tulchinskiy rolled 6-1, 6-2 at #4, and sophomore
Felipe Vazsonyi took both sets 6-1 at #5. Principia had just five players so there was another forfeit at #6 singles.
The Foresters improved to 3-7 while Principia fell to 7-4 on the year.
Lake Forest will continue the nion-conference portion of its schedule at Wheaton College Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
