The College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams were announced on Tuesday and Lake Forest College's Jamie Springstead was on the list of honorees.

To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale at their current institution and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They also must compete in at least 90 percent or start at least two-thirds of their team's games.

Springstead played in each of the Foresters' 25 games and made 16 starts this winter. The junior guard and two-year team captain averaged 4.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest and added 23 assists and 14 steals on the year. Springstead, who in majoring in biology, is a two-time Academic All-Midwest Conference honoree.

She is one of four Forester women's basketball players to receive the award in the last three seasons.
