The Forester men's tennis team played at home for the first time in 2024-25 on Saturday but fell 6-1 to Augustana College at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff.

Lake Forest freshman Joao Espindola and senior Daniel Tulchinskiy prevailed 7-5 at #2 doubles but the visitors claimed the double point with victories at #1 and #3, the latter in a tiebreaker. 

The Foresters' team lone point came at #2 singles, where junior George Ciuca took both sets 6-2.

The loss dropped Lake Forest's record on the season to 1-5 while Augustana improved to 5-1.

The Foresters will be at home again next Friday when they host Hope College at 6:30 p.m. It will be Senior Night and Tulchinskiy, Anele Mayiga, Kyle Lassen, and Alec Nissen will be honored before the match.
