Lake Forest College's Jasmine Kohl was named one of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Three Stars of the Week on Tuesday for her performance in the Foresters' series sweep of Marian University over the weekend.

Kohl started the scoring in Friday night's 3-0 victory at home, striking with just 1:29 left in the opening period. The junior center also assisted on the final goal of the contest with 8:32 remaining in the third.

Lake Forest doubled up the Sabres 4-2 Saturday night in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and Kohl once again accounted for the first goal of the contest, this time just after the mid-way point of the second period. She also netted the Foresters' third score of the night and her second game-winner of the weekend early in the third.

In addition to her scoring output, Kohl won 24 of 42 faceoffs in the series.

Kohl leads Lake Forest and ranks fourth in the conference with 13 points on six goals and seven assists so far this season.
