The Lake Forest College women's soccer team continued its perfect season Wednesday with a convincing 3–0 road win over Lawrence.
The Foresters controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting the Vikings 13–3 and putting nine on frame. Senior Anna Gracia got things started with the opening goal in the first half before fellow senior Anna Hoffman doubled the advantage minutes later, slotting a low finish inside the right post off an assist from sophomore Maggie Balas.
In the second half, senior Izzy DeStefano put the game out of reach with a composed strike to the lower right corner, capping off another dominant outing for the Foresters.
Lake Forest dictated the pace throughout, holding Lawrence to just three total shots while senior goalkeeper Greta Norville secured the clean sheet. The win moves the Foresters to 13–0 overall and 3–0 in conference play as they look to keep their unbeaten run alive this weekend when they play at Beloit on Saturday, October 11 at 11 a.m.
