Lake Forest College women's golfer Gabrielle Krebs was named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday for her performance at the Edgewood Fall Invite last Sunday and Monday.

Krebs helped lead the Foresters to a first-place finish at the 14-team event. She followed up an 80 in the opening round with a 6-over 78 in round two to place seventh in a field of 87 players. Both of her rounds featured three birdies and she played the tournament's par-5s two shots under par.

The senior's score of 158 matched the 11th best two-round total in team history and Krebs now owns seven of the program's top 14 entries in that category. In addition, her school record career scoring average dropped slightly to 80.79.

SLIAC Players of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. Krebs has now earned the honor twice this fall and seven times in her career.
