The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released the list of SLIAC All-Academic Team honorees for fall sports on Thursday and six Lake Forest College women's golfers were included.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have reached at least sophomore status in academic standing, attended their current institution for one full academic year, and maintained a 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale
Forester senior Sydney Foulon, who is double majoring in economics (finance concentration) and French, received the honor for the third consecutive season.
Fellow senior Alijah Campbell made the list for the second year in a row. She is majoring in business with a marketing concentration.
Lake Forest's first-time SLIAC All-Academic honorees were senior Gabrielle Krebs and sophomores Amanda Adley, Madelyn Conklin, and Libby Hearst. Krebs is a business major with an accounting concentration while Adley is studying biochemistry and molecular biology and Conklin English and creative writing with a literature track. Hearst's major is currently undeclared.
Krebs (2nd place), Hearst (7th), and Foulon (9th) were also First Team All-SLIAC honorees while Campbell (14th) earned second team status for their performances at the conference tournament in early October.
