Strupovets, Dockal, and Mookencherry Named All-MWC

10/22/2025 10:00:00 AM

The Midwest Conference announced the 2025 All-MWC teams for women's tennis on Wednesday and three Foresters made the list in both singles and doubles.

Junior Sofia Strupovets earned All-MWC honors for the third consecutive season. She posted a 3-1 record at #1 singles and the same mark atop the doubles lineup during league play and then successfully defended her conference titles from last year at those positions during last weekend's MWC Individual Tournament. Her final victory on Sunday was the 100th in two-and-a-half seasons as the Foresters' top player.

Lilli Dockal was listed among the best in the league for the second year in a row. The sophomore won all five of her singles matches and went 4-1 in doubles during the league's regular season. She also captured a second straight conference championship at #2 singles and teamed up with Strupovets to win back-to-back titles at #1 doubles at the MWC Individual Tournament. She is 23-6 in all matches so far this year.

Lake Forest's third All-MWC honoree is freshman Anya Mookencherry, who leads the squad with a 26-5 record in singles and doubles combined in 2025. She won five of six conference matches in both singles and doubles during the regular season before claiming titles at #3 singles and #2 doubles at the MWC Individual Tournament.

The Foresters have had at least three players earn All-MWC honors each year since the conference began having coaches vote for that award in 2023.
