The Foresters continued their remarkable season Tuesday afternoon, powering past Ripon College 4–1 to improve to 15–0 overall and 5–0 in Midwest Conference play. With the win, Lake Forest remains ranked 11th nationally in Division III, continuing to build one of the best campaigns in program history.
Senior Anna Hoffman opened the scoring just five minutes in, finishing off a smooth combination from fellow seniors Izzy DeStefano and Anna Gracia. Sophomore Maggie Balas doubled the lead in the 36th minute after connecting with freshman Maddie Vasquez and Hoffman.
The Foresters stayed in control after the break as freshman Veronica Presberg buried her second goal of the year, and sophomore Annabelle Schroeder capped the scoring late off another assist from Vasquez — her second of the match.
Senior goalkeeper Greta Norville anchored a dominant defensive performance, facing just two shots all game as Lake Forest outshot Ripon 21–2 and earned 14 corner kicks to the Red Hawks' zero.
Now 15–0 and riding a wave of momentum, the Foresters look to keep it rolling when they travel to Cornell College on Saturday, October 18, for an 11:00 a.m. conference matchup.
