The 11th-ranked Lake Forest College men's soccer team kept its perfect season alive Saturday with a gritty 1–0 road win over Beloit, improving to 13–0 overall and 4–0 in conference play.
After a scoreless first half, senior Christian Karabetsos delivered the breakthrough in the 65th minute, burying his second goal of the season to give the Foresters the lead. From there, Lake Forest's defense locked in, limiting Beloit's chances and preserving the clean sheet.
Freshman goalkeeper Marceli Okonski came up clutch once again, recording five saves to secure his fifth shutout of the season. The Foresters controlled play throughout, outshooting the Buccaneers 21–7 and holding a 10–3 edge in corner kicks.
With the victory, Lake Forest continues its dominant run atop the Midwest Conference and reinforces its national standing among Division III's best. The Foresters return home Wednesday to host Ripon College at 4:00 p.m. at Mohr Field.
