The Forester women's basketball team ran into a hot-shooting Knox College squad Tuesday evening and was defeated 119-85.
Offensively, the Foresters' point total was a season high by 10 and their .400 field goal percentage matched their best mark so far this year. They also reached double figures (10) in made three-pointers for the third game in a row and had a slight 42-39 edge in rebounds.
Knox connected on 61.1 percent of field goal attempts and on 23 of 28 free throws. The Prairie Fire also committed just eight turnovers to Lake Forest's 17.

Rebecca Christodoulou led all players in the game with 27 points while fellow senior guard
Peyton Davidson was the Foresters' leading rebounder with seven in just 16 minutes of play.

Mia deGrasse were next on the squad in scoring. They finished with 12 points apiece, a season-high total for Noles and career-high mark for deGrasse.

Jamie Springstead led Lake Forest in assists with four.
The loss dropped the Foresters' overall record to 2-10 and Midwest Conference mark to 1-3. Knox, meanwhile, improved to 7-6 overall and 2-2 in the league.
Lake Forest will host Cornell College Saturday afternoon at 1:00.
