The Lake Forest College women's tennis team played its first home match of 2024-25 on Saturday, a 7-0 rout of visiting Judson University.
The Foresters won all but two games in the entire match. The Eagles had just five players so the doubles portion of the contest consisted of 6-0 victories posted by Lake Forest sophomore
Sofia Strupovets and freshman
Lilli Dockal at #1 and fifth-year
Margaret Bugnacki and sophomore
Kate Feist at #2.
Dominican was also unable to win a game in four of the five singles matches. Dockal blanked her counterpart at #2, as did Bugnacki at #3, Feist at #4, and sophomore Anika Kinnsear at #5. At the top of the lineup, Strupovets took the first set 6-2Â and the second 6-0 to close out the contest.
Lake Forest improved to 6-0 on the season and will travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan, for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Tournament next weekend.
