The Forester women's tennis team doubled up LeTourneau University 6-3 in Hilton Head, South Carolina, on Monday.

Sara Lopez posted an 8-4 victory at #2 doubles but the Foresters trailed 2-1 going into singles play.
The top three singles matches took the courts first and, thanks to senior
Margaret Bugnacki taking both sets 6-3 at #3 and freshman
Sofia Strupovets prevailing 6-4, 6-1 at #1, the score was tied 3-3. The Foresters swept the final three matches with Lopez coming out on top 6-1, 6-4 at #4, freshman
Kate Feist rolling 6-3, 6-0 at #5, and sophomore
Rebecca Daskal defeating the Yellowjackets #6 player 6-3, 6-1.
The victory in their first Spring Break trip match raised the Foresters' record on the season to 11-3 while LeTourneau fell to 4-5.
Lake Forest will take on Shenandoah University Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. (ET).
