The Lake Forest College volleyball team was defeated by Wheaton College and Loras College on Saturday in the Foresters' final home matches of the season.
The day began with the team honoring seniors
Juli Barrientos,
Rebekkah De Kok,
Lauren Volk, and
Riley Stapley before their final career appearances in the Sports and Recreation Center.
De Kok went on to lead the Foresters with 10 kills and two aces against Wheaton. Sophomore
Meghan Winston paced the squad in assists with 15 and digs with 11.
Stepley was Lake Forest's leader in kills against Loras with eight while sophomore
Simisola Osinaike matched her career high with seven. Barrientos served up four aces and now ranks eighth in program history with 124 in her career. Winston added 13 assists to her total for the day.
The Foresters will close out the season at the University of Chicago Sunday afternoon at 1:00.
