The Forester men's hockey team was defeated 4-0 at Lawrence University Saturday night.
The Vikings took the early lead just 57 seconds into the contest and added a score with 1:23 remaining in the opening period.
It remained a 2-0 game until the home team struck again at the 4:11 mark in the third and Lawrence added one more with 10:56 remaining.
The Vikings had a 29-22 advantage in shots on goal in the contest.
The loss dropped Lake Forest's overall record to 1-4-1 and Northern Collegiate Hockey Association mark to 0-3-1. Lawrence improved to 3-2-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the conference.
The Foresters will face Concordia University Wisconsin next weekend with the teams battling for the Border Battle Trophy Friday night in Mequon Wisconsin and Saturday in Lake Forest. Both games will begin at 7:00 p.m.
