The Forester women's basketball team traveled to Angola, Indiana, for this weekend's Cameron Hospital Classic at Trine University and fell 115-38 to the hosts on Friday.
Senior guard
Rebecca Christodoulou led the visitors with 15 points and shot 5-for-10 from the field, 3-for-4 from three-point range, and 2-for-2 from the foul line.
As a team Lake Forest connected on just 25 percent of field goal attempts while Trine was at 57.5 percent. The Thunder also had a commanding 49-32 edge in rebounds and committed just five turnovers to the Foresters' 26.
Lake Forest fell to 0-3 on the season while Trine, the 23rd-ranked team in the nation according to D3hoops.com, improved to 2-0.
The Foresters will complete play at the event by taking on Albion College Saturday afternoon at 2:00 (ET).
