The Forester volleyball team traveled to Appleton, Wisconsin, on Tuesday and came ou on the wrong end of a 25-16, 30-28, 25-16 decision.

The Foresters, fared well in the first half of each set, trailed by just one at 13-12 in the first before the Vikings closed it out with a 12-4 run.
Lake Forest jumped out to a 10-4 lead in set two and was ahead 19-17 before six straight points by Lawrence put the home team on top by four. The Foresters fought off six set point opportunities but were unable to stop the seventh.
Lake Forest was ahead 12-6 in set three but the home team won 15 of the next 16 points and, eventually, the match.
The loss dropped the Foresters' Midwest Conference record to 3-2 while Lawrence's improved to 2-2.
Lake Forest will continue league play at Illinois College Saturday at noon.
