The Lake Forest College men's basketball team was defeated 79-64 by visiting Illinois College on Sunday in a game postponed a day by weather and travel conditions.

The margin grew to as many as 16 points early in the second half but the home team eventually closed to within six by the midpoint of the period. The game got no closer, however, and Illinois College eventually built up a 20-point lead before prevailing by 15.
