Izzy DeStefano netted the lone goal of the game as Lake Forest women's soccer won 1-0 over conference opponents Ripon College on Tuesday evening.
DeStafano's goal came early in the game with just over 22 minutes on the clock. It was her fifth goal of the season so far, and she leads the team in goals overall.
The Foresters dominated on possession of the ball and kept the Ripon goalkeeper busy as they made 28 shots during the game. Sixteen of them were on goal. Forester goalkeeper
Franca Finch made one save on the day, while her counterpart made 15. DeStefano had a team-high five shots with three of them on goal.
Lake Forest has a 1-0-1 record for conference play this season. They'll travel to Knox College on Saturday for the next game.
