The Lake Forest College men's soccer team traveled to Colorado Springs, Colorado for the opening games of their 2023 season. The Foresters played against Nebraska Wesleyan University at Colorado College on Friday afternoon and were defeated 2-0.
Lake Forest outshot their opponents 11-9, with  four of their shots being on goal.
Despite holding the Prairie Wolves scoreless for the first 45 minutes, the Foresters allowed two goals in the second half of play. Forester goalie Andrew Swacha subbed in for senior Szymon Mocarski at the 19th minute mark and finished the game with five total saves.
The Foresters play again on Sunday against Colorado College at 1:30 pm M.T.
