The Lake Forest College men's basketball team dropped a 107-82 decision at Benedictine University on Saturday.

The Foresters continued to shoot well from three-point range, connecting nine times in 20 attempts after shooting 13-for-28 from beyond the arc in Wednesday's season opener. Sophomore wing Alex Forowycz and freshman forward Wuin Galka each ccounted for three of the visitors' three-pointers.

Forowycz shared team-high scoring honors with 20 points apiece and Knight added seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals. With 10 points, Galka was the Foresters' only other player to score in double figures.

Benedictine shot 58.3 percent from the field and knocked down 11 of 23 three-point attempts and 18 of 20 foul shots.

After the Eagles jumped out to a 13-3 lead, the Foresters eventually closed back to within three. The margin quickly grew back to double figures and was 59-46 at halftime.

A Forowycz basket with 16:13 left made it a 10-point game but the visitors got no closer the rest of the way.

The loss evened the Foresters' record at 1-1 while Benedictine improved to 2-0.
