The Lake Forest men's soccer team shut out Lawrence University 4-0 on Saturday as they played in front of the Forester home crowd for Homecoming. Freshman
Peter Cirbo assisted on every goal scored.
The Foresters were on the board early when senior
Elliot Hull scored his first goal of the season after returning from injury in the 12th minute of play. Freshman
Nico Lomanto added two goals to the Lake Forest tally, once in the first half and again in the in the last 14 minutes of the game. Senior
Muhamed Prijic also netted a goal; his came in the first thirty seconds of the second half.
Lake Forest had 25 shots against Lawrence's 4 and dominated possession for the entirety of the game. The Foresters also had 10 corner kicks while the Vikings received none.
Lake Forest is 2-0-2 in conference and holds a 4-6-2 record overall this season. They play against Aurora University at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
