Despite leading at halftime, Lake Forest men's soccer was felled by Monmouth College 3-2 on Saturday.

Karl Weisenfeld put the Foresters up to an early lead with a goal in the first six minutes of the game. The Fighting Socts answered just minutes later, but freshman Gustavo Muchado added another tally to Lake Forest's total with just 31 seconds left in the first half.
Unfortunately, Monmouth came out and scored two goals in the first five minutes of the second half and held the Foresters scoreless for the rest of the game.
Lake Forest led the game in shots with 17, 13 on goal. Monmouth tallied just five shots, four on goal.
The Foresters play again on Tuesday, October 17 at home against Beloit College at 4:00 p.m.
