Nationally ranked North Park University defeated Lake Forest men's soccer team 5-0 on Tuesday evening.

The Foresters held the number five team in the nation scoreless in the first 45 minutes of play. Junior goalkeeper Szymon Mocarski had five saves during his time in goal.

North Park outshot Lake Forest 25-5 overall, and 14 of their shots were on goal. All five of the Vikings' goals were scored in the second half of the game.

The Foresters are now 1-6-1; they begin competition against Midwest Conference opponents on Saturday with a game against Lawrence University at 1 p.m.
