The Lake Forest College volleyball team dropped three matches over the weekend at Augustana College's Viking Classic. The Foresters fell in three sets to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Coe College and in four to Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Sophomore outside hitter Mary Gegen led the team with 32 kills in the three contests combined, including a match-high 15 against Nebraska Wesleyan. She also served up four aces, tied for the team lead with five blocks, and added 26 digs on the weekend.Junior middle blocker Madison Stevens was next on the team with 24 kills and she matched Gegen's block total.

Freshman setter Juli Barrientos led Lake Forest with 38 assists and six aces and her 29 digs at the event ranked second on the squad. Junior libero Izzi Visnjevac reached double figures in all three matches and finished with 44 on the weekend.

The losses dropped the Foresters' overall record on the season to 4-8 while Platteville improved to 6-6, Coe to 7-4, and Nebraska Wesleyan to 8-2.

Lake Forest will host Trinity International University Wednesday night at 7:00.
