The Lake Forest College volleyball team dropped a 25-19, 25-15, 25-23 decision Thursday night at Carthage College, the seventh-ranked team in the nation. Junior Cori Cooper led the Foresters with a dozen kills and as many digs.

Cooper committed just two hitting errors in 31 attempts for a .258 hitting percentage. She also added an ace.

Junior Tia Rupnik also reached double figures with 10 digs and freshman Torie Pasiewicz led the visitors with 13 assists.

Lake Forest fell to 7-9 on the season while the Lady Reds raised their record to 15-2.

The Foresters will be back in action next Wednesday night at Dominican University. The match will begin at 7:00.
