Box Score The Lake Forest College volleyball team had its season come to an end Saturday as the Foresters fell 25-19, 25-16, 25-15 at St. Norbert College in the Midwest Conference Tournament final. Junior Molly McCloskey led the visitors with a dozen kills in the match.
McCloskey added three blocks, an ace, and 11 digs for her ninth consecutive double double.
Junior Tia Rupnik led the Foresters with 13 digs and both setters, sophomore Tori Drasler and freshman Torie Pasiewicz, recorded 14 assists.
Lake Forest finished the season with a 15-14 overall record while the Green Knights will advance to the NCAA Division III Tournament with a mark of 26-7.
McCloskey and fellow junior Cori Cooper led the 2011 Foresters with 401 and 395 kills, respecitvely, the fifth and sixth-highest single season totals in team history. Rupnik had a team-high 507 digs and 33 aces, Drasler tallied 580 assists, and junior Kristen Braun led the squad with 56 blocks.
