The Lake Forest College volleyball team dropped a 25-20, 25-16, 25-14 decision at Dominican University on Wednesday. The Foresters fell to 7-10 on the season while the Stars raised their record to 15-4.

Junior Molly McCloskey led Lake Forest with eight kills and tied with classmate Tia Rupnik for the team lead with 10 digs.

The first set was tied at 19 before the Stars won six of seven points to close it out.

Lake Forest led 6-4 in the second set but a 10-4 Dominican run put the home team ahead 14-10. The Foresters won the next two points but got no closer.

A 19-4 run by the Stars erased Lake Forest's 7-5 lead in set three and the home team closed it out to take the match.

The Foresters will have a week off before traveling to Marian University next Wednesday for a 7:00 p.m. match.
