The Lake Forest College men's soccer team won 4-0 at Knox
College on Saturday to even its overall record on the season at
1-1-0. Senior Jacob Heaps was one of four Foresters to score in the
Midwest Conference opener for both teams.

Haught-Thomspon assisted senior Will Press on his first career goal
just six minutes later.
Senior goalkeeper Tom Biesiada made five saves to record his
first shutout of the season and seventh of his career.
Head coach Chris Bergmann was pleased with his team's play. "The
guys played very well," he began. "We attacked with great tenacity
and fought hard. The defense played great and got forward well to
help the attack. The midfielders were especially strong in the air
and combined well with the forward. It was a good all-around
performance.
The Foresters will play their first home game of the season next
Saturday against Ripon College. The MWC contest will begin at 3:30
p.m.
