The Forester volleyball team defeated host Mount Mary College
25-14, 25-13, 25-14 Tuesday night. Sophomore Cori Cooper recorded
six aces and also led the visitors with eight kills.
Sophomores Molly McCloskey and Kristen Braun each added seven
kills, freshman Tori Drasler led the Foresters with 18 assists, and
sophomore Tia Rupnik tallied a team-high 19 digs.
Lake Forest had 39 kills and just nine attack errors in 90
attempts for a .333 hitting percentage, the program's highest mark
in more than two seasons.
The Foresters will host the annual Red & Black Triangular on
Saturday. Lake Forest will take on North Central College at 10:00
a.m. and Benedictine University at 2:00 p.m.
