The Lake Forest College men's soccer team fell 4-0 at Millikin
University Tuesday afternoon. The loss ends the Foresters'
five-game winning streak and leaves them with a 9-5-0 overall
record.
Millikin out-shot the visitors 9-5 but neither team was able to
score in the first half.
Despite attempting eight shots to the Big Blue's seven in the
second half, the Foresters surrendered four goals in the period.
The first came at 52:20 and was followed six-and-a-half minutes
later by the second. Millikin's third goal was scored at the 68:09
mark and the fourth at 75:27.
It was the final non-conference game of the regular season for
Lake Forest. The Foresters will resume Midwest Conference play
Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at Grinnell College. Lake Forest will
then host Beloit College the next day at 3:30 p.m.
